BiPipe + X-Chip = Clang, clang, clang?

This past weekend, I had a bipipe installed into my stock '00, along with a pair of Bailey DVs and an MTM F-pipe. On the ride home from San Jose, everything seemed to be purring as I'd expect it to.
This past weekend, I installed an X-Chip I've been saving until I could get all of those preventative mods installed. Suddenly, under hard acceleration I hear an intermittent thapping noise. To me, it sounds like the cooling fan hitting the BiPipe (though it didn't do that before I installed the chip). Maybe you could add your thoughts as to what it sounded like to you, MadMan? Does anyone have a similar experience? Thanks for any insight!

Yeah, I've seen some of the same problems here on AW. But only with a chip installed? Seems like a weird cause/effect relatiosnhip to me *shrug* Maybe the improved acceleration is causing enough of a shift to close what little gap there is between the two parts? At any rate, thanks for the reply!

clearance problems under hard accelerating? The motor is going to move alot more now that you are making more power. How are your motor mounts? Do you have an aftermarket or OEM snub mount?
