After several attemps to find any external leaks with little or no results I sent in an oil sample. I spoke to Alex(lemmeiux,)Mark@ASP and several others about this problem. I was advised by a friend to register a complaint with AOA over the phone about having coolant contamination in the oil.
AOA said for anything to be covered by Audi it must be inspected and approved by the Audi service manager at Knopf. I made an appointment at Knopf for next Thursday for them to inspect the car.
When I spoke to the service manager he said that it could be a bad oil cooler. I will also have them do an 80k PM, oil change, coolant flush,
compression check, etc. Mark said to have them do a drip test ? Any other things I should have them
check ? It's needless to say I'm not very happy.
TIA

I'm not holding out much hope for them to cover anything. But at least I still registered the complaint with them.

I think you're grasping at straws going down that road.
And the oil pressure is higher than the cooling system pressure most of the time, so if there is a problem in the oil cooler, the oil will find it's way into the cooling system in greater quantities than coolant in the oil. In other words, your coolant reservoir will look like it's filled with brown sludge.
There is no easy fix here...but Alex probably told you that as he went down this road.
