Default blow off noise found... damn dealer! ....

after clearing the check engine light for the second time, we looked at the valves and noticed that the clamps were not even to the first notch and were just hanging on the hoses.

after titening the clamps to the bosch valves the check engine light did not come on during peak boost (which it would before)... problem solved? doubtfully.

i am getting the slight blowof noice again during shifts (not nearly as load as before), but i had never heard this before in the past year i have had this car.

do you think the valves were harmed by the pore seal? or does anyone have any other ideas?

thanks in advance for any help.

btw - there has been no loss of power at all.

Why solve? You've just saved the money for BOVs...

No, he has stock valves, the screw clamps on the return side were just hanging there before

Default I don't think those loose clamps would have hurt the valves

your valves could be bad. Is it just the sound you are hearing now, no CEL and no loss of power? Since you are hearing it on shifts, it is likely not a leak on the intake side, you should hear that under load.

Default If you want to install my Forges, and see if it makes a difference, all you need is some high temp

grease (they've been sitting in a box for months and need a good greasing). It will be hard to return it to completely stock because of the vacuum clamps, but I think I have some of those and I do have crimpers, it's just a tight spot in there to get them crimped.
