Bluetooth Car Kit Ordered...(m)
I'm sure all of you have seen the posts put up by hman A4 on how to install a car kit for the Nokia 8260 (I think Steve Trac has done this also). At any rate, I'm going to do the same...but with a Bluetooth car kit. In case you're in the dark about Bluetooth, it is a Personal Area Network language that allows cellular phones to speak to wireless headsets, computers, and printers through an encrypted 2.4gigahertz signal. When I have the module installed in my car, my phone (Sony Ericcson T68i from AT&T) will automatically recognize it when I get in and turn on the ignition. At this point, all of my calls will be routed through the hands-free kit and in to the factory speaker and mic -- even if the phone is my coat pocket or bag. And what's more, the car kit also supports stereo muting. Also, this kit is *not* model specific. When I get my next bluetooth phone, it will also work with the kit -- because both speak the same language
I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done with the install. Oh yeah -- a big thanks to hman_A4 and Steve Trac for the info on their sites. I owe you guys. You can see the car kit I purchased at the site below:<ul><li><a href="http://www.expansys.us/product.asp?code=CARK112&asource=">http://www.expansys.us/product.asp?code=CARK112&asource=</a</li></ul>

I have the same phone, dying to get this! Tell me more please
I want to get the ericsson kit, just for the hell of it. it says it integrates into built in car mics, so sounds like it'll work just like the built in factory phone once all is said and done. please let me know how the install goes, any info would be great!
TIA
