Alert the Imola Yellow 2001 S4 with 57k miles at Autostrada in Salt Lake City, Utah has an incorrect CarFax, unreported accident or mis-reported as a service not body work/accident repair.
I went to check it out for someone in the family interested in a good condition S4. The CarFax a few days a go listed a visit to Cutrubus Motors for service with 80,000 miles. The mileage is really only 57k so probably Autostrada had the mileage removed from the CarFax. But he didn't have the entry corrected to state that the car was at Cutrubus Collision not for service but for body work, maybe an unreported accident. (I confirmed with the body shop.) Most of the car has been repainted (some runs and poor masking). Ripples in the drivers door were even pained over-too many to just be door dings. Autostrada knows about the trip to the body shop but allows the false listing to say "Vehicle serviced" service at Cutrubus Motors instead of bodywork at Cutrubus Collision Center (they are two different businesses owned by the same owner). I have had my A4 and S4 at both of them and they do good work.
PM me if you want a list of other things wrong with the car, definitely not worth the asking price of $13,900. I talked to the person who sold it to Autostrada, and he only got $8500 for it, which seems about right.

Interesting. I went to go check it out last week cause I have never seen a Imola B5 S4 in person. Sadly and it was not there. I spoke with someone and he said it was getting painted. He said that the po backed into a bus up at snow bird and there was a scuff on the rear bumper. He said that was the only thing wrong with it. LIAR!! They also had another Imola B5 S in the back that I checked out. The paint was very faded and the interior was very rough. He said that he needed to replace the engine before he put it on the lot. It should be interesting to see what they price the other one for as well. But ya, autostrada is pretty shady if you ask me..
