Any idea (guestimates) how much the rear bumper of an S4 costs
and how easy it is to repair a hurt (slightly twisted) body panel.
the one between the rear right fixture and the bumper has gotten
a little hit tonight and it doesn't look good.
I know I at least have to get a new bumper and a repaint,
and need to get that body panel twisted back (or replaced?)

anybody had similar accidents and know what I will have to deal with?

They were able to repaint the bumper so I'm not too sure about the cost (my friends 1.8T had his rear bumper replaced for nearly $1000 so I'd expect a similar figure).

After all repairs, which included a replaced and re-painted rear qtr panel, new taillight housing, re-painted rear bumper, and labor, total came to $2800 and 4 weeks downtime Actually the first week was a battle with the insurance cuz dude denied what he did, so that didn't really help to expedite repairs!...good luck

Mine looks very similar but my rear quarter panel is not as hurt...need to find a digicamera
