Body shop says they have to charge me 3% if I use my credit card to pay for everything?....

I tried to find the bylaws online but only found what may be a summary..
Do you happen to have access to this information still or know of any way which i can quote it to the body shop? .. I emailed mastercard already to check it out .. Thanks for your help!

Mark...ask Pie4Foo...he might have access to them now...
I no longer work for that bank...Easiest may be to call Mastercard (wherever the hell they are). Visa is in San Mateo CA. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I spoke with MasterCard and confirmed they are not allowed to charge a surcharge...
.. It doesn't matter if there is a sticker on the door or not. They said if they try to go through with it then report them to MasterCard. Awesome! ... Thanks again for your help!

This charge exists, however they should NOT ask you to cover it... (m)
sometimes a shop may give you a 3% discount if you don't use CC, but never the other way around.
