Default Bolt In Roll Bar

Anyone had any luck finding a bolt in application? Or is custom the only option?

Got a couple emails out to stable and AutoPower regards custom bars and costs...

Default Re: Bolt In Roll Bar

i think weld in is the only way to go, bolt in just doesn't have the same strength, which is the reason for the roll bar in the first place.

Default car is a daily and used for DE's...not a competitive race car

looking for a bolt in roll bar, not a welded cage..

Default You realize your back seat will be utterly useless, right?

If so, the Autopower bar is decent. Beef up the mounting plates.

Default Although I would like something a bit more custom, so it's still a 4 door

removable side bars or something.

Yes it's a fact no one can sit behind me really (unless they are tiny), but I need to be able to put the kid in the back with his booster, so the cage/bar is going to have to get pretty custom, while maintaining it's strength and structural support

Default You're not going to be able to put anyone back there,

once the rollbar is in place, period. Especially your little one in his booster. No way, no how.

It's just not safe. If you put a rollbar in, you've just turned the car into a two seater. If you need to carry someone in the back seat, you *can not* install a rollbar in the car.

Default Audi is not on the "bolt in" list...do you have a bolt in AutoPower Roll Bar?

Or know anyone that does. Would be interested in seeing pics. They will make anything custom for any vehicle for $$$...
