Boost Controler!

Boost Controler!
Instead of opting for a chip, has anyone used a boost controler and turned it up 2 or 3 psi and see the same increase as using a chip? I have been talking to a friend that has an eclipse and was telling the options of using either a chip which is already mapped or use a boost controler where you can turn it up and down. Plus I heard the APEX boost controler is very versatile for any of you that races your car.

The boost controller
works fine on the eclipse because of it's secondary injector rail. The purpose of the ECU swap on the Audi is because it needs the ECU to dump more fuel into the cylinders to compensate for the extra air. The boost controller on my eclipse was effective, but didn't realize it's full potential until I put a VPC(Vein Pressure Controller) with it. That gave me the ability to add extra fuel at different rev limits on the eclipse. The ECU on the Audi handles all of that for you.
The APEXi AFC is a nice addition to the Audi when adding BOVs.

i installed an HKS Super AFR,
it didn't do jack isht, but make the car go limp and give me error codes in referance to MAF voltage spikes. Don't mess with Bosch! Either chip it, or eliminate it
