I've had a drop in mpg from about 24 to 18.5 and max boost around 7 or 8#'s. The Engine is stock right now besides a samco Tbb and f hose.

I'm guessing this isnt limp mode becuase i thought limp boost is around 5. Am i wrong?

Would this be just a boost leak, that a pressure test could find?

First real problem i have had so its kinda freakin me out. Thanks for your time.

Turbos are sucking in air that's being metered and then expelled somewhere. Your ECU is injecting fuel based on the airflow readings, all of which is not making it to your engine.

Pressure test first.

To piggyback on that, limp mode would cause boost to be right around where you're seeing it.

It seems like boost has gone up a little to about 9 when i did some pulls, but gas mileage is still lower than what i remember. (20-21)

Would the cold weather be giving me lower boost and mpg? (I thought cold weather helps)

Anything else i can check? I have a hitachi MAF but that wouldnt explain the boost.
