Default Boost Leak, Pressure Tester is leaking pressure

I was having a whooshing sound when I let off the gas, so I replaced my DV's to 710N's.

Drove around after replacing them and continued to here a whoosh when I let off the gas only the whoosh was much "cleaner" sounding and not as raspy for lack of better words. I couldn't tell if boost performance was any better after the 710N's.

I went out a built a pressure tester, but since I don't have a big air compressor I modified the nipple end to accept one of those cheap 12V air compressors. I started it up and it does push air through the system, but I am unsure if it is pushing enough. I also found that the pressure tester itself at the articulation between the plastic pipe end piece and the nipple fitting leaks (bubbled with soapy water.)
I drilled another end cap and the same thing happened.

Is it the amount of pressure that this cheap pump is giving off, is it the pressure tester? I already sprayed the up-pipes of the IC's, throttle body, dv's, piggie f-hose. SHould I try to seal the end cap? With what should I seal it?

Is there any sound that should occur when letting off the gas?

Thanks and sorry for the crap picture

Default Did you use 2 big of a drill bit?

RTV on the fitting and RTV where the PVC cap meets the rubber fitting. Let sit overnite. That should do the trick...

Used the 9/16th. I'll use the RTV. Should there be NO sound after letting off the gas?

Default Calls for a 31/64ths bit...

Who the hell carries that bit in their toolbox? I used a 1/2" bit and it sealed good. Do you have a boost gauge? Are you losing boost?

I hear something when I let off the throttle but I attribute the sound to exhaust.

Default No boost gauge....

I'm really thinking on installing one now with all these ongoing boost problems. I'm wondering if the leak is below the drivers side up-pipe underneath at the TBB. THe way the up pipe sits in the AMS Kevlar coated TBB isn't flush along ridge of the up pipe.

How much boost could be lost at the top of the DV at the little vaccuum fitting? They have never blown off, but it is only held with a little twist tie.

Default I also don't know if I'm loosing boost. Hard to tell.

My car seams to have been faster in the past, but it is subtle.

those things dont flow enough air to maintain pressure.
