Boost won't go above 5 psi, ideas? Help greatly appreciated...
ASP software, car is at dealership getting a new passenger side intercooler. They went for a test drive and the car wont boost above 5 psi. They thought it was valet mode, I thought it might be limp mode. The Audi mechanic there works wonders with B5 S4's and he is baffled. Thanks all!

Have they even plugged a VAG into it? I'd bet there is a code there.
I agree with the rest- if this guy "works wonders" he would know that it is in limp mode.
why is it getting a new IC? Check for leaks and codes.

Who knows, his rep is what the other "mechanic" told me
Car went to a body shop to get the bumper aligned from a fender bender months ago and now is at the dealer for a new IC, makes no sense.
