Stuff is so simple to use too. You must have a china based company making parts.

Default Inventor? Not bad.

I prefer SolidWorks or Pro/E. SolidWorks especially for FEA and CFD.

Yep, Inventor. I like UG NX5 for those things but Inventor is my specialty They're all similar

Default Oh yeah, they're all similar for sure.

I've used them all too (UG, SDRC, Pro, SW, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCad 2D! and some other ****e). But after it all, I prefer SolidWorks. Lots of power like the high end stuff, but easy to use. Again, the analysis tools are so well integrated too which is nice.

Default I am low key. Blender and raw code for modeling. Homebrew codes for analysis

And if anyone has a CAD model of our car, can you
please send it over so that I can do some serious
CFD on it? (I have this crazy idea on how to digitize
the car but it is a serious time and money investment.)

I am planning to go commercial with a CFD code of mine
and one of the niche markets is car aerodynamics and
internal combustion engine optimization. (Yes, you
will be the first to enjoy the fruit of this if I succeed.)

OP, know that you are a real, total geek, if nobody mentioned that!
