ok mr. i want everything free let see KO4 2700 with everything right then rs4 clutch is about what
550, and labor about 2k for everything.
then shop fees 3% and up to 20$ and taxes 7 %.
do the math dummy.

and i was just giving him an idea of what it would cost him in total with taxes and everything.
if it would be me doing it it would be 5960 with tax and shop fees, labor and parts and warranty for 1 year.

I had assumed you were answering the question at hand, "average cost to install...?" which in no way included parts as a factor in the equation.
