had a 2nd MAF replaced under warranty this week and the service rep noticed that the Bosch MAFs now have a superceded part number. Apparently this suggests the possibilty that the new replacement MAFs may have under gone a revision (hopefully an improvement) from the original design. Time will tell if it makes a difference.

Unfortunately I just found the invoice from the first MAF replacement in Dec. 01 and it shows the same damn part #. So, now I don't know if I was given a line of B.S., or if they did revise it but the revised part is no better than the original.
