Default bose hidden equilizer functions

To access the Bose hidden EQ functions here are the steps.

<> Turn radio off
<> Press and hold down the 5 and power button
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/28085/bose_eq_1.jpg">

Next you will see the following numbers or EQ adjustments
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/28085/bose_eq.jpg">

The 3 numbers to the right adjust the treble, then the next 3 adjust the midrange and last 2 balance the bass.You will adjust the numbers higher or lower by turning the volume ****. This is if your reading this from right to left. Once you are done with setting them the way you want to, simply press the on/off button to save into memory. This should give you more dynamic control over your bose symphony system.

Default only way is to test it and see what works best for you..

i like techno so i adjusted the settings to give me good bass and some high treble with the midrange just giving me enough response. But it wont be long i will be pulling out the Bose speakers and going with my Mb Quarts Rsc213 w/ 2 JL Audio 10w0 and JL Amps..

anyone recommend a good AudioControl EQ for this setup?

Default Slight correction - the numbers represent FFFF RRRR where F1 is bass and F4 is treble

also http://www.ibiblio.org/tkan/audi/radios/symphony.html

There have been tons of posts on the EQ settings - search will show lots of examples.<ul><li><a href="http://e-audi.tripod.com/eaudinewsarticles/synfhead1.htm">http://e-audi.tripod.com/eaudinewsarticles/synfhead1.htm</a</li></ul>

Default Lots of posts on this in past...

These settings are different but each is better than factory. Try them!<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec56.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec56.shtml</a</li></ul>
