Bought a used GIAC chip/comp for my 2000 S4........couple ques....
I have no idea what model chip it is, or even if it's the latest update.
How can I find out the model, and if it's 1.1 bar or 1.2 bar?
anything on the ECU to inform me???

if there is nothing on the outside of the ECU, then open it and see if anything
is written or placed on the chip.
hopefully the ECU has a GIAC sticker on the outside and the chip inside also has a GIAC sticker. i believe the chip should have a number.
then maybe you can contact GIAC or find out where the guy bought it and determine what type of chip it is.
