It'd still be great on the track though, wouldn't it?
Gives it that little extra kick of power and the superb handling is still there. I guess it depends on what he wants from the car, they're both very different.

I thought the stock boxter s did a 14.2 quarter?
You said a boxter lacked power unless you got the S. But the S/C one is just a little bit quicker. Not to mention a S/C regular boxter is probably cheaper than a boxter S.

hehe. I don't think the S4 comes close at all to boxster handling
One is a mid engined 50/50 balanced car, one is a nose heavy pig.
I do agree that he should go for the S. Also, '03 models get a power bump and a glass rear window. The rear glass window is alone, worth it.

boy, you have an awful lot of car misconceptions.
A car that's $60K is hardly a poor man's anything.
BTW, if you really got the *****, you can drop in a 3.6l 911 engine and stuff it in there. It has been done.
