but yes, that 3.6 transplant would be cool.
I say it's the poor man's Porsche because EVERYONE who could barely afford one would get one...I think my mom's lease on it was somethin like 670/month....
Anyhow, yeah, not a fan of the Boxster

There you go, a little faster than the S4. And handles better than one too. It's faster than the boxter S, and with the upgraded suspension, will probably handle better than the Boxter S.

that in a Boxster or Boxster S, you cannot recline the seat. So, your passenger is not going to able to take a nap while you go on a long drive. Like they should anyways. But it is something that I didn't think about until a friend's GF told me what she DIDN'T like about the Boxster.
Otherwise, she loved it. They are 2 totally different cars for totally different types of drivers.
You should choose one based on YOUR requirements, not the people on this board.
The same folks told me to choose a 993TT without a warranty instead of a C4s with one. Their brains are totally engulfed in power/drag racing/glory/etc.

I've always wanted an open air roadster. My biggest problem is that one of my best friends is a huge F-Body fan and owns a Z28. He laughs when he hears that a Boxster S does the 1/4 mile in 14 or so seconds and still costs $55k+. Little does he know that I will destory him in the twisites.
Hopefully I'll get the Boxster S in two years, or maybe 986 C4S if things go well. We can always dream.
