Bracket the holds the MAP sensor on top of TBB - necessary?

Default Bracket the holds the MAP sensor on top of TBB - necessary?

mine hasn't had one since i bought the car last year.. stage 3 now and no boost deviations, etc, but i'm wondering if there could be any 'inefficiencies' from it not being held at the right angle, etc?

Mmm, I think the bracket was intended more for strain relief than anything.
