Default Brake Noise in reverse..

I've had the car about 6 months now, about 8k on it. I'm now getting a pretty loud squeaking kind of noise when I step on the brakes in reverse, only when the brakes are wet. After washing or when it's raining out. Not a squeal but it kind sounds like the calipers are hanging up. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?

Default yup... I posted this question a while ago. Answer I got was...

breaks get broken in with wear going a particular direction. Going against the grain so to speak when in reverse causes the noise.

I don't think I answered this as well as I could have, but hopefully you get the gist.

Default Thanks!

I'm going to see what the dealer has to say about it at the 10K service. Just doesn't seem right.

Default

You can make the sound go away temporarily by backing up fast and braking hard.
