Default They used to be better...

I think Bendix changed the pad compound on them in the last few years. I had them on my first 2 A4s and they were slightly better than stock with much less dust. The set I have on the car now suck, with tons of dust and not very good cold or wet stopping performance.

Default You might like Hawk HPS for the street.

They'll fade under extreme use, but for normal street driving, they're fine.

Default Ferodos are $151 from StopTech; I bought them from raceshopper.com for $157 shipped

The PBR/Axxis are pretty common. Try Import Replacement Parts, ECS, and others.

Default Well I had a choice of Axxis, Hawk and something else for the rear

and I liked the axxis from the last time I had them on so I stayed with the Axxis pads.

Default How's the dust?

The Axxis ultimates that came with the stoptechs were the worst dusting pads I have experienced, and they were not good in the wet, even after bedding them in.

Default Love to...

But I only get 3 weeks of vacation this year and very few weekends off. Hopefully my schedule will be a bit lighter next year.
