26000 miles on these brakes. they just started to whine on me. it isnt a squeeke....the disc brakes already do that enough. but at low speeds. like crawling speeds...the brakes are whining on me. any suggestions?

yeah i thought about that; however, there is that sensor, i think, that would pop up on the dash letting me know my pads are worn down. i'll get it in for service. one of my friends mentioned the 'brake booster'? honestly...i didnt even know what that was...

I mean get your hands dirty, remove them from the caliper and actually LOOK at them. Look for crumbling, signs of uneven wear, glazing, or anything else unusual.

FYI, that wear sensor is located on 1 inside pad. You have 4 pads on each caliper.
