Hi, I just got a used 2000 Audi S4 6spd(26000miles), and when I brake the whole car vibrates/shudders like the ABS is kicking in. The steering wheel doesn't vibrate, and I don't hear no squealing sound so i don't think that it is the rotors or pads. This happens mostly on hard braking from higher speed. Lower speed braking I don't feel this as much. Also, i read on this forum about ESP, does this program have something to do with my situation? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Either change to performance pads and see if that gets rid of it or cut the rotors AND get better pads.
I've found that not standing on the brake once stopped prevents this sort of thing, always try to roll a bit waiting at a traffic light.
