Brief vibration/hum noted while driving. I can feel it in the brake or clutch pedal. No abs light
on but the sound/vibration is similar to what I feel when the ABS is activated. The sound comes on at random. Early 01 with 44K miles. Any thoughts as to the cause? TIA

i believe i have...
the same vibration/hum you describe. it happens at random and it often happens when i slow down on a rough road or railroad tracks by my house. i have taken the car to the dealer 4 times total for different reasons, always mention about the hum/vibration but never seem to fix it. they have changed pretty much every suspension part execpt shocks/springs, but the noise is still there. I have pretty much given up, hopefully something breaks/wears out before warranty runs out.

I can hear a faint click when I step on the clutch but I believe that this is normal. The humming
will sometimes occur just after re-engaging the clutch but it often occurs at random. At times it occurs after hitting a bump but not always. BTW I have no clutch slippage.
