Bubble in rear view mirror???

Bubble in rear view mirror???
So I look in the mirror...and there is like a clear bubble in the middle of the mirror. The auto dim feature must be some kind of liquid crystal thing. My liquid is missing about a Jello-Shot of goo. Do I replace the whole mirror or just the Face (glass) part? Hard/Expensive to do?

you will need a new mirror. I had the same. Did you go to a car detail place where they were thorough and cleaned the rearview mirror with alcolhol? That screws it up.

Now mirrow leaking green liquid GOO!
Car never detailed...but I do clean mirror with Turtle Wax Auto glass cleaner. It has some Alcohol content. Maybe it took out the seals in that "Liquid Wonder" of a mirror.
