Yes, offered to help. Telling the truth around here is so odd, that most don't know how to handle it
You cannot tell of your experiences or education, let alone offer to help someone without some tool jumping on you.
The link he posted is of me being the SECOND person to post the weight of his non-s4 car. In that post, I stated factually that the car in question is faster on a track than a StgIII S4, and slower than one on the street.
This apparently riled some feathers, as there are many people on this forum who need to believe that their cars is the end all of be all and the fastest car on Earth. I guess it pains them when someone has a far cheaper car that's faster. The same people apparently are pained when someone offers translational help, as they speak a few foriegn languages.
Sad how small some peoples egos are that an offer to help and posting facts angers them. Unreal that one of the longest time members of AW (since 1996) can't offer help without some chucklhead getting involved.

Thanks you! Yah, I've never been on a forum where you tell the truth and get panned
for having and education or a high level of experience at something. All of us are experts at something. Some are more relevant here.
A lot of people here also seem to have opinions that they think override factual data and a lot more can't admit when they are wrong. The bigger man is the one who admits his errors. Big deal! We all are wrong some times!
Two things I hate in people.
And getting panned for offering to help translate web site! Yah, I'm the arrogant one. How about the tool who panned me for offering to help? Now he's the definition of a tool.
