Default bumper damage advice

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/41599/dscn1853.jpg"></center><p>
So here's some pothole damage I'm not too happy about. Took a chunk right off the edge of the bumper, belly pan, and wheel well.

Hoping to get insurance, the town, etc to cover. Either way here's my question - what should I do in terms of repairs? Is there any downside to replacing the bumper cover, wheel well liner and belly pan? Any guesses as to cost? Is there any downside just leaving it as is (other than the looks)?

Thanks.

Default Well, I haven't had mine fixed yet, but....

I called a body shop - one recommended by my dealer, and the body shop said that to replace the bumper cover is about $800. They told me that matching the paint isn't a problem because of clear coat.

As for the other damage, I don't know what it costs.

Default to give you an idea...

A new bumper is ~$380, paint will be ~$400.

The fender liner + labor will be $50 with the belly plastic + labor probably on the order of $100.

Default Danger,danger,danger...the rear side of your >>>>

right hand Intercooler is now exposed directly to crap being thrown up from the wheel.
Usually the wheel well liner keeps it safe.
The IC's can be punctured quite easily by this.
IMHO

Default Re: RS4 bumper time!!

So I was thinking about that, but everything I've read says that it's a PITA to get the RS4 bumper to fit (unless perhaps you also replace the fenders). Anyway have an OEM RS4 fender that really fits the S4?
