Buying CPO S4 w/ Carfax hiccup

I'm buying a Certified 01 S4 but had a question about a hiccup I found on the Carfax report. The reports lists one "very minor" accident listed, which the report says means the following: "MINOR: The accident damage does not affect the operation of the vehicle. Examples include dented bumpers, fenders, grills and body panels. This level of accident should not compromise vehicle safety."
Is this something to be worried about? The dealer did not disclose this saying CPO cars can't have had any meaningful accident damage. Car feels and drives solid, but I'm more worries about how another buyer might view this (a hit to $$$) if and when I eventually sell the car.
Thought about having an independent shop inspect it -- do you think that's necessary? Excited to get this car so I don't want to overreact, but I don't like feeling like I was mislead too. Thanks for your help!

CPO draws the line at frame damage. Replacement of body panels is considered minor in nature, and the car can get certified.
As far as resale...I wouldn't worry about it...provided the work was done well. The biggest issue is that you don't have any proof regarding what was damaged, so the next buyer may be left standing in your shoes. That uncertainly will scare away some buyers. That same buyer may not like the fact that you're a second owner...so maybe the sale wouldn't go anywhere anyway.

guy backed into my rear passenger door in a parking lot, very little damage and i'm sure carfax would report it the same.
if you know where it was hit, look real close for any poor bodywork or paint...i had to take mine back to the shop like 3 times before they did it good enough.

and it was just that. Hit a small animal, cracked the bumper (and only the bumper), got it replaced with perfectly matching paint and no paint chips, and it's actually better than before the accident. He should, indeed, check out the car but with that type of accident, the car is probably fine.

Since I don't know the nature or extent of the damage I think I'm just going to pass rather than trying to convice somebody when I sell it that there was nothing wrong with it.

Both simple replacements of the rubber cover. Just because it shows up on a CarFax report sure as hell doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with my car. So take that report with a grain of salt.
