Default Can a 18" 235 40/18 tire/wheel peacefully co-exist with the stock S4 rim/tire?

I want to put, temporarily, the 18" Fikse's on the front and the stockers on the back until I receive my other two wheels/tires from Steve S.

However, I also spaced that I have to go to the dealer's on Wednesday, and so I'll need to drive the car there.

How do I determine the diameter of the tire and if they match, then they can co-exist on the car, correct, without damage to the drivetrain?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

Default 235/40/18s are 1.69% larger than stock tires.

You are within the acceptable difference of the torsen differential which I think has a max of 2%.

Default JYO, you need to chalk a line on garage floor, and side of tire at 6' o clock. Roll the car/tire

in a perfectly straight line(forward or backward) until the line on tire is at 6 o' clock again, and mark on garage floor.(did i explain that ok?). by carefully measureing the distance between the 2 lines on the floor, you will have your "rollout" Its alot easier to measure rollout if the wheel/tire isnt on the car, but it CAN be done either way.

If the rollout for the different tires is within 3%, your gonna be ok for a few days.

I apologize for the disjointed writing, but I am on my way out of here in a sec. but i wanted to help out my Bro's.
