Can a 2000 S4 6 Speed A Box ECU be recoded to work with a 2000 B Box ECU Tip S4?

there is a chipped MTM A Box I might buy if it can be recoded to work with my B Box car...

I don't see why not, but it's probably not something that can be done with VAGCOM, or at least not

easily. I'd say it'd definitely have to be reprogrammed.

Going the other way around, tip to 6spd would be easier, as you'd just have to shut some stuff off.
