recently had my front bumper cover repainted at a body shop and they told me it was a real bear. It took them 3Xs the "normal" amount of time -- somewhere near 3+ hours to take it off and disassemble. Wouldn't recommend this as a DIY project.

We have had ours off multiple times in the garage. (I will try to remember as many steps as possible.) First thing you do is remove the 2 lower Fog Light Grills. This allows access to remove 2 10 mm (I think) bolts, that hold the bumper to front bumper bar. Once you have removed these two bolts it is pretty straight forward. The Front bumper is on a 'slot' on both sides of the car, and you just kinda of pull out and down, and it will snap off. I wish I had more detail.. but if you remover the screens, then the bolts, you will be able to 'slide the bumper around a bit. Then get a flashlight, and look in the fenderwell to see the slots I am talking about. Once you have done it once, it is easy... first time is very scary! Also once you get it off... you will have to remove the line to the headlight washers.
