Default Only 2 times I've ever seen this happen...

First was on MonsterS4's car. His ECU was on the way out and couldn't get lemmi to work either.

Second was w/ a USB vag. I tried my serial vag and it connected fine.

Hmmm. I wonder if it's the ECU. I use a serial cable now

Default I wouldn't really say "issues"...

but iirc, serial has a better data rate. I have a serial and have never experience one problem. I have personally witnessed a USB vag not work and my serial vag connect right up.

Default hmmm maybe i'll get a serial then... not sure why i was thinking USB

not like i'd be switching it to a bunch of different computers, since i don't even have a laptop yet, and will be picking one up just for the VAG, so it will always be with the cable.

Default I've seen this happen several times at IW...

It is very common to see this with cars that are equipped with aftermarket audio equipment, when the installers have tapped power from a data line.

Is the car stock in terms of A/V?
