Can bad O2 sensors or cats be bad for the car?
After getting my F-ed up TBB replaced today the car was pulling better than new. Unfortunately, 3 hours later a CEL popped up with the DTC 17584/17585 (O2S correction behind catalyst)
Archives point to bad O2 sensors or cats. Since I'm at 96k, and am unsure if extended warranty covers cats, would it be such a horrible thing to run in this state? I have to admit doing something very dumb by putting 110 octane in at Buttonwillow. I found later that it was leaded. DOH! It's been 4k miles ago that I did that though.
Any thoughts?
