Default can i chip a 2000 S4 with 90k miles on it?

the car is dead stock besides a milltek catback exhaust, and i just installed a new stage 2 clutch and flywheel
i am wondering simply if i can chip the car, while still keeping reliability
ive heard that once you pass a certain mile marker, it really isnt worth doing any work to the car....
what do you guys recommend i do
oh and i have a 2k budget -_-

Default Sure you can chip it- the reliability of the turbos is likely to be lessened...

however at 90K miles they could go on stock boost at any time as well. That being said, many have had well into the 150K+ miles with stock turbos and chipped.

I don't know why it wouldn't be worth chipping after a certain point, just realize that if you do chip that other things may pop up.

Go for a ride in a Stage 1 or 2 car and you'll be getting software soon afterward.

Default get some new diverters, watch your throttle body boot and do it

Oh, and have a few grand in the bank just in case the turbos blow. I chipped around 85K and love it.
