Can I use M1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90 to grease my Baily DVs?

too thin...I'd use Mobil 1 Sythetic Grease (comes in a tube at auto parts store)

...not that anyone really services them, but you can take them apart now (the top cap is attached with screws).

so i'm an idiot for servicing them? I thought it should be done every year or so

... I've checked mine about 5 times now, and they pass my unoffical, push the piston, cap the line, and see if the piston holds test.

I've also emailed Bailey in teh UK for a set of seals and nipples, they never respond. I was going to replace all taht stuff as a "why not", but whatever to them.

i've not heard of many people servicing them. that seemed to be a forge DV thing...
