Default Can a slipping clutch cause Random Cylinder Misfire DTCs to be tossed?

Also, is it plausible for a clutch to slip at WOT in 3rd/4th/5th gear ~4000 rpm and not to have even a hint of slipping when launching at about 3k rpm?

Default 1) No. 2) Not likely, but possible.

If your rpm climb rapidly but your speedo needle doesn't move (or drops), you probably have a slipping clutch.

Default check your coolant temp sensor

Mine was bad. Apparently this can cause those DTCs, for some reason.
