Can someone explain this MBC setup?
They have a pressure regulator installed to prevent overshoot. I don't see how it would work.

The pressure regulator is just functioning as an adjustable bleed for the wastegate line.
Most MBCs have a hole to bleed off pressure in the wastegate line so the the wastegate doesn't get held open once boost pressure drops below the MBC setpoint. The pressure regulator will only allow X psi to go to that line and vent the rest.
If we are using a parallel setup with the N75, the bleed (and pressure regulator) is unnecessary as the N75 bleed does the job for it.

Yep, you can make AVCR ramp however fast or slow you'd like...
