Default Look above, spreadsheet downloadable....more...

I posted this peculiar thing it does while shifting about a week ago.

When it hits the next gear, the boost falls off, then once in the next gear there is a hesistation, then the boost comes back on, but the rpms as you can see are up in the spool range.

An automatic should really keep the boost on during the shifts...the replies I got was the tip chip is sending signals to the ecu to cut back boost by design to protect the tranny.

You have a different explanation, would like to hear...

you need to use a graph type of "x-y scatter" to put data on the x-axis

nope - GIFs ideally. (But if you upload to pic poster, they'll change to JPGs)

Default Those initial boost spikes are a little odd, since the car is only requesting 1.2 bar...

However, I don't think they are high enough to be a concern.

Default Here the GIF is 5 times smaller filesize... Tell me which is which, and which looks better?

Look at the plotted lines and tell me which looks better? GIFs are perfect for graphing situations or other situations where there's minimal transitioning of colors. Blocks of the same color are great for GIFs:
