Can a torn F-hose be causing overboost?

as some of you know my wastegates haven't been opening. can a torn f-hose be causing this? i'm in the middle of replacing my spider hose when i noticed a huge tear in the F.

I'm fairly certain the answer is no.
Did you mean overboosting...... as in the turbos are spinning much faster to try and create boost to compensate for the boost leak?
He's talking about the car making far more Psi than it should be.

leak in your wastegate line or a bad wastegate actuator. But yes, a boost leak can cause overboost but not usually 19psi when your code is requesting 8.
