Scoobie is a nice fun car and STi WRXs are unholy fast but...
MAYBE some of us WANT the leather 8-way adjustable seats and birdseye maple (or aluminum) and power everything and auto-dimming mirrors hehehehe.
Also, the joy doesn't happen on any WRX till over 4000rpm and it's peaky in that way, the S4 is just the opposite...I'd rather "hang" in real-world driving in and S4 than a WRX any day.

I still think the wrx is too expensive for what you get...
So you get a 4-banger with a 2-dollar turbo. Big deal. If they lowered the price to 20 grand, then it'd be something to look into.

I wouldn't worry about that....
The tranny isn't going to last very long in a 320HP WRX.
Funny thing....an East coast rally team who is campaigning a turbocharged Impreza has a different tranny in their car. Gee...why does it say Audi Sport on it? ;-)
