Cant get drive shaft bolts off, where they connect to tranny..
Have tried arm power...and I broke a universal joint before they even budged...
i tried it with a kobalt 420 ft pound impact driver and they still will not budge.. : (
I dont think I have any choice left besides an air compressed impact driver..
How tight are those freekin things on there?
I can t get the triple square bolts off the half shafts either..I wonder if this gun really is putting out 420 ft lbs..

the rear driveshaft bolts gave me alot of trouble.....
i ended up stripping a couple and had to use a dremel to cut off the heads...I think it was cause it was cold (30-40 degrees) and they have locktight on them. Try heating them up with a blow torch should get them loose.

2nd....get a long 3/8 ratchet with a small head
get the allen socket on before and make sure they are in all the way and then put the ratchet on, otherwise you risk stripping it....also use heat like i said above.

If it is really that tight, something is wrong...
There might be some corrosion for some reason, and it may be locking the threads.
Aside from heat, as the others suggested, insert the bit into the bolt head and give it a few solid strikes with a hammer. I don't know how much room you have in there, but hopefully enough. Leave the bit seated in the bolt head, then attach your wrench and give it a shot.
Striking the bit in that way does two things... It makes sure the bit is seated all the way into the bolt head, which reduces the chance of stripping. Additionally, it actually causes the bolt to rotate ever so slightly. While the rotation would be in the tightening direction, this is minor; more importantly it does loosen corrosion and threadlock.
If you do heat the bolt heads then you should replace them with freash bolts. If the bolts have any wear in the hex replace them as well, otherwise if you ever undo them again you will have a worse chance of stripping them out.
Good luck.

thanks guys. I think im just gonna roll the car to the gas station near me and have them blast them
off with a gun.
My suspicion is that someone was there before me, as Ive seen other markings too throughout the engine, like paint coded items etc.

Along the same lines, I had trouble getting the inner CV joint off of the flange...
Here's what I did:
I polished/sanded all the rust off since it was seized on.
Then I applied RTV high temp silicon (gasket maker) around the joint as shown in picture. Hopefully this'll keep the water out of the joint.
...and dont' forget the antiseize
