Default car feels like it boogs at idle, not much power in hight rpms

when i come to a stop i can fell the engine shake like it wants to die then catches itself (never has died out) also at high rpms 5k+ the car doesnt seem to pull as hard as in the lower rpm range. No codes, pressure tested and no leaks. Giac x only.

bah! skim reading.....it's more than likely his MAF sensor or maybe an 02.

Unplug your MAF, see if it still runs rough at idle

Default dumb follow up question: does the abscence of an o2 contribute to lower power?

I just had my cat covereter replaced and an o2 sensor was fused so tightly onto it that the dealer had to break it to replace the cat. I'm getting a new one, but I immediately noticed after driving the car last night that it wasnt as quick to pull as it normally is. would an o2 cause this?

Default yes, you would have a noticable difference. the dealership didn't replace it

while the car was there? i'm confused.

Default you are correct - they had to order it. (more within)

I think the local dealer is pretty good on the whole though, so no ill will towards them. I do wish they had told me that so I wouldn't have worried myself all evening (got left by a saturn, yes, but admittedly they were already 5-10 mph faster and I never got out of second as we were going 1/10th mile red light to red light). Its like I wasn't moving.
