Yep. it was more pronounced in 4th and 5th when chopping the throttle. I had no CEL but

did have codes for B1 EGT short to ground and then short to +. I'd bet you have a bad EGT. Just hope its the passenger side!

The motor is out of the car, 129k...prob going to just replace them..

I've never had an EGT code, but I don't think these things have any sign of failure.
