Default Car stuck in gear...?

Any thoughts, opinions, ideas are more than welcome!

So this morning I pull into a parking lot. Run it up to about 3000RPM's in first gear, pull in the clutch, and put it in neutral to just coast through. When I pulled in the clutch it only went down about 75% of the way and then felt... chunky? So I pushed it in a few times and it smoothed out. I never had that happen before...weird!

This afternoon:

I pull into a tight parking spot and run into a store(me, not that car). I come back out, jump in the car, push in the clutch, turn the key: The car lurked forward. Won't come out of 1st gear.(stomach gets sick) So I firmly hold down the brake and start the car. It starts up and shakes like it wants to jump forward. I turn off the car. I THINK I faintly smelled clutch.

I go into the store and find the owner of the car in front of me so I can get him to move so I can see if rolling the car forward will help. He moves, I jump back in the car and it come right out of gear without me touching anything else. Drove home perfect, no problems.

I think I need to call an Exorcist. Your thoughts? Thanks!

P.S. I got home and the can opener in my kitchen didn't work either. WHERE DOES IT END??

Thanks again.

-Chad

So what's the next step then? The Audi dealership replaced the clutch 30,000 miles ago.

Default I had a throwout bearing come apart and jam a piece in the fingers... Had an RS4 clutch ready (M)

when we pulled this one apart. Discovered the issue after it was pulled apart. Had enough left on the original clutch that I could have re-installed, but figured I would upgrade the clutch while apart and had the RS4 available. Second time the throwout bearing was replaced. Once at 32K and then at 100K. Now tough launches or track time - go figure...

I'm in Central Wisconsin. Clutch failure at 30k miles? Really? Possible that fluid is just low?
