No. e.g. If ASP leased company car for a director, it would be listed as CFV on Carfax

OK - so I'm a bit dense - company registered then means what?

Default Means it's registered to a corporation rather than an individual...

So If it's a company car, they can give it to any employee. If the employee leaves, no paperwork has to be done for DMV and the company still owns the car.

There are tax incentives for company cars.

Best,

Ram

Default well, except the fact that whoever was driving the car may have beat the crap out of it

since it was not "theirs", it was the company's.

That said, I bought my S4 which was a fleet vehicle and I have had no real issues. It was actually in excellent shape.

Fair point - it was onlt for a year. But a year as a demo car would be different...

Default If it's for a year, it's probably a car leased to an AoA employee

I think those leases are typically one year and, if I remember correctly, it would have been 'owned' by Audi Credit (AoA) as a "CFV"
