If they pulled the engine to check for frame alignment I can understand that, but if they F up your clutch it is on them.
Good luck.

Sounds like what happened when the clutch on my A6 went out. I never really pushed it super hard in the low gears, but I could hardly even get on the gas at 70mph or so in top gear or else it would just slip bad. There are some other things to consider though, is it worse when the car is cold or warm? Do you have a stock clutch? How many miles are on it? My clutch died at 58k and I had 2Bennett put in a nice strong 6 pucker that should go for a long time to come.

.. but when I dropped that car off a month ago I never had ANY problems with the clutch EVER, and now I'm slipping in 4th, 5th, and 6th gear. I know they are completely responsible.
Has anyone sued a dealership for responsibility? What are my options here?

The dealerships are generally great at breaking things and denying responsibility.
Look, you need to get your car fixed. So find a good independant near you, put in a new clutch and have the independant try to figure out why the old one failed.
If you can figure it out, and it appears to be related to recent work done, you might have a leg to stand on with the service manager at the dealership.
Either way, you need a new clutch. Sorry to hear it, but not suprised at the dealers response.
You could try calling AOA and have them open a case.
AOA can sometimes be helpful.
