CART race posponed because of unsafe speeds at Texas Motor Speedway
The drivers were feeling upwards of 6 Gs in the 24 degree banked turns. They were getting vertigo and could not handle the high G forces. The cars hit upwards of 250 mph in the straights and were averaging above 230 mph around the track.

This was an issue months ago! Why didn't those dumbf*cks at CART do something about this...
...like set the race up so that it was going to be run on the ALMS infield roadcourse there?????? I bet the makeup date is either some nice 110 degree day or the weekend we're supposed to be able to get the track for driving school.

Cart did the RIGHT THING !! Ovals are for pig Nascar racing, NOT for the fastest cars in the world !
The drivers were being subjected to SUSTAINED 5+ G's. Not even fighter pilots are subjected to that kind of sustained loading, and they wear G-Suits. Good job Cart!

They started the drivers on an extensive workout
program. But, the g-suits didn't arrive on time. You know how bad the military supply chain can get.
Seriously, why not just strap on the Hanford device and pretend it's a super speedway.
