yes, that was my impression when i saw y2000 series 3, but
i always thought that a4/s4 models had better looking butts and y2000 series 3 bimmers had better looking front end, compared to each other...<p>Oggie S.

really? M3 is 2 door $55k coupe, Skyline is at least 4WD.

i remember hearing about a lightweight version for europe. i'm not sure about the us tho. too many people here need their ac, sunroof, nav control, heated/electric seats etc

I grant you, previous gen M3 was a direct competitor but new M3 is nothing like an S4...
so while I agree that competitive posts about M3's are relevant, I don't see how the new M3 is any more like an S4 than a Skyline, both are WAY more expensive, 2 door coupes and unavailable in the U.S. (hehehehe).<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/carssmall4.jpg">
