Cell Phone nightmare...SOLVED!.. Radio-to-Nav speaker..."issue"

So I've been trying to do the Motorola Timeport Cell phone integration for weeks now, had the whole circuit built, tested, retested, everything done. Microphone worked, power worked, radio mute (with relays) working perfectly.
Just never had any sound. Nothing coming from the Nav speaker in the door. Even went as far as taking the door panel off and checking the speaker itself.. which was of course fine.
So finally, I'm ready to try the link below, and proceed to buy my nailfiles and pull the radio out.
But to my amazement, what do i find???
THE WIRES TO THE NAV SPEAKER WERE UNPLUGGED! The whole brown harness with the 4 wires, exactly as described, was just dangling idly behind my radio!! Plugged it into the socket and Boom! perfect working speaker system!
How can Audi do that? Anyone ever heard of the Nav speaker not being plugged in? (I don't have the NAV system, of course). But seems like there being a spot for every harness, you'd want to, at least, plug the darn thing into the radio!
This was, to say the least, a bit of a frustrating process. Hopefully I can save someone else the trouble with this post.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Happy motoring (and safe talking, finally!)

It worked in my car. I assume it must have been car specific. Good to hear. Does that make you confident in the dealer's ability to diagnose things?
